About Hallie
I offer couples therapy, individual sessions, and EMDR in-person in Los Angeles and across CA via telehealth. I specialize in working with adults, with a particular focus on trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and couples work. I hold an undergraduate degree from UCLA and a Master's degree from USC, and I draw from EMDR, attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Gottman Method.
I value the significant impact that past experiences have on current patterns and relationships. I believe that true understanding lies in looking beyond surface-level symptoms to explore what's underneath. I integrate depth-oriented approaches to help clients make meaning of their histories and foster lasting change.
My work is also informed by a strong familiarity with the entertainment industry, and I offer a supportive space for professionals, artists, and actors navigating the unique demands of their careers. I intimately understand the demands of the entertainment world, while also recognizing the critical importance of mental health and well-being in achieving sustainable success and fulfillment.
My mentor and clinical supervisor is Dr. Bonnie Goldstein, a Harvard and UCLA-trained leader in trauma-informed care, psychodynamic therapy, and sensorimotor somatic psychotherapy. My practice is also deeply influenced by the teachings of Bessel van der Kolk, Esther Perel, Brene Brown, Orna Guralnik, John and Julie Gottman, and Peter Levine.
I wholeheartedly believe that finding peace and living a fulfilling life are within reach, and I view therapy as a path through which turmoil and uncertainty can give way to balance and clarity. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to individual needs and experiences.
I look forward to hearing from you. I offer a free phone consultation so you can get a sense of my approach, ask any questions, and see if we feel like the right fit.
