I offer EMDR, individual, and couples therapy.

About Hallie

I specialize in working with adults, with a particular focus on trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and couples work. I value the significant impact that past experiences have on current patterns and relationships. I believe that true understanding lies in looking beyond surface-level symptoms to explore what's underneath. I integrate depth-oriented approaches to help clients make meaning of their histories and foster lasting change.

I draw from attachment theory, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy, narrative therapy, somatic therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I hold an undergraduate degree from UCLA and a master’s degree from USC. I have been trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EMDR, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My practice is deeply influenced by the teachings of Bessel van der Kolk, Esther Perel, Brene Brown, Orna Guralnik, Gabor Mate, John and Julie Gottman, and Peter Levine.

I wholeheartedly believe that finding peace and living a fulfilling life are within reach, and I view therapy as a path through which turmoil and uncertainty can give way to balance and clarity. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to individual needs and experiences.

I look forward to hearing from you. I offer a free phone consultation so you can get a sense of my approach, ask any questions, and see if we feel like the right fit.

Insurance: I accept Aetna insurance and can provide a superbill for reimbursement for other insurance providers.

“The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help.”
